Ma, the elephants have Camel short legs with five toes but, why do I have long legs with two toes?

My child, we live in the desert. The desert has a lot of sand and rocks. Our legs help us to walk in the loose desert sand. Our toes protect us from the hot sand.

வாழுகிறோம். பாலைவனத்தில் அதிகமாக மணலும் பாறைகளும் உள்ளன. தளர்வான பாலைவன மணலில் நடப்பதற்கு நமது கால்கள் உதவுகின்றன. சூடான மணலில் இருந்து நமது கால் விரல்கள் நம்மைப் பாதுகாக்கின்றன.

Ma, why do I have these longeyelashes?

Mother Camel (தாய் ஒட்டகம்):

My child, in the desert there are strong winds. These winds carry sand Camel with them. Our eyelashes keep our eyes safe from these winds.

என் குழந்தையே, பாலைவனத்தில் பலமான காற்றடிக்கும். மணலை வாரிக் கொண்டு காற்று வரும். இந்த மாதிரி காற்றிலிருந்து

Mother Camel (தாய் ஒட்டகம்):

Do you know, why we have humps on our back? In the desert, it’s hard to find food and water. Our humps store food, so that we can use the food in the hump if we cannot find it in the desert.

நமது முதுகில் திமில்கள் ஏன் நமக்கு உள்ளன என்று உனக்குத் தெரியுமா? இந்தப் பாலைவனத்தில், உணவையும், தண்ணீ ரையும் தேடிக் காண்பது கடினம். நமது திமில்கள் உணவை சேமித்து (தாய் ஒட்டகம்) வைக்கின்றன. இதனால் பாலைவனத்தில் நாம் உணவைக் கண்டறியாதபோதும், திமிலில் உள்ள உணவை நம்மால் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ள முடியும்.

The river feels, “I have to run all the time.
I want to be like the hill.”

வேண்டும்”, என ஆறு நினைக்கிறது.

Then, one day the river asks the hill,
“Why do I run all the time?”

நேரத்திலும் ஓடுகிறேன்?”, என்று குன்றுவிடம் கேட்கிறது.

The hill says, “Ha! Ha! Ha! Can you
